Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef (Substitute with ground turkey for a leaner option.)
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning (Store-bought or homemade.)
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 10 ounces Tortilla Chips (Ensure gluten-free if needed.)
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Try pepper jack for a spicy twist.)
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Guacamole
  • 1/2 cup Salsa (Add after baking.)
  • 1/4 cup Jalapeños (Fresh or pickled.)
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions
  • 1/4 cup Black Olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking sheet.
  5. Spoon the seasoned beef mixture over the chips.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and add your favorite toppings.
  9. Serve immediately.
