Description
Creating Chicken Ramen w/ Creamy Garlic Sauce is simple and rewarding. Follow these steps for a delicious outcome:
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 packs of ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packets)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Add them to the pot and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the pot and let it rest before slicing it into strips.
- In the same pot, add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. This will create the base for your ramen.
- Add the ramen noodles to the pot. Cook according to the package instructions, typically 3-4 minutes, until tender.
- Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream and soy sauce. Mix well until the sauce is creamy and smooth.
- Add the sliced chicken back into the pot. Stir to coat the chicken in the creamy sauce thoroughly.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if necessary.
- Ladle the ramen into bowls. Top with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro if desired.
