Deliciously baked salmon fillets marinated with fresh citrus, garlic, and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 each Citrus (Lemon/Lime) (or swap in an orange for a sweeter twist)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (fresh cloves preferred)
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Herbs (e.g., parsley, dill) (opt for fresh over dried)
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil (or melted butter can be substituted)
  • to taste Seasonings (salt, pepper, paprika, etc.) (adjust quantities to your preference)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs, salt, pepper, and the juice and zest of your citrus.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and generously pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the marinated salmon skin-side down. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove the salmon from the oven and garnish with more fresh herbs and slices of citrus before serving.
