- 2 cups milk
- ½ to ¾ cup pesto
- ¾ pound pasta
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour for about two minutes.
- Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Stir in the pesto until well combined.
- Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Mix in the creamy pesto sauce until evenly coated and serve hot.
Notes
