Description

Delicious breakfast sausage balls that are easy to make and perfect for breakfast or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Add the breakfast sausage, pancake mix, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, maple syrup, egg, and black pepper to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix everything together until fully combined and the mixture is thick but easy to scoop.
  4. Roll the mixture into evenly sized balls, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches each.
  5. Place the balls on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between them.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Let them rest for 5 minutes before serving warm with maple syrup if desired.
