Description

Delicious oven-baked pork ribs that are tender and infused with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds Pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar (can swap with coconut sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons Smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Black pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup Barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F. This low, slow heat is key to achieving that tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness.
  2. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this flavorful blend generously over the ribs.
  3. Place the ribs on a large piece of foil, meat side up. Wrap tightly to lock in moisture, then lay them in a baking dish.
  4. Cook the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 to 3 hours. They should be tender and easily pull away from the bone when ready.
  5. Remove the foil and brush barbecue sauce over the ribs. Turn up the oven to 400°F and bake for an additional 20 minutes for that sticky, caramelized finish.
  6. Let the ribs sit for 10 minutes after baking. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute for even more flavor.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the rub.
  • Adjust cooking time based on thickness of the ribs.
