Description
Delicious oven-baked pork ribs that are tender and infused with flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 pounds Pork ribs (baby back or spare)
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar (can swap with coconut sugar)
- 2 tablespoons Smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion powder
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Black pepper (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup Barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F. This low, slow heat is key to achieving that tender, fall-off-the-bone goodness.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this flavorful blend generously over the ribs.
- Place the ribs on a large piece of foil, meat side up. Wrap tightly to lock in moisture, then lay them in a baking dish.
- Cook the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 to 3 hours. They should be tender and easily pull away from the bone when ready.
- Remove the foil and brush barbecue sauce over the ribs. Turn up the oven to 400°F and bake for an additional 20 minutes for that sticky, caramelized finish.
- Let the ribs sit for 10 minutes after baking. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute for even more flavor.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight with the rub.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of the ribs.
